Toadstools, Roses & Vintage Lace! Dolly Mixture Etsy Update!

I’ve added a few new dresses to my Etsy shop today! http://www.etsy.com/shop/dollymixtureshop

This cute little dress has been carefully handmade to fit Blythe Dolls using a combination of machine and hand sewing. The dress has a long skirt made from red and cream striped fabric with a delicate red rose pattern. The skirt is trimmed with cream cotton lace and has an lace overlay made from a beautiful piece of vintage embroidered lace featuring bows and flowers. The bodice is made in matching striped rose fabric, with red and white polka dot puffy sleeves and a lace collar made from cream Japanese cotton lace. The sleeves are decorated with tiny pearl beads, and a tiny silver key hangs from a cream thread around Blythe’s neck. The dress closes with two snaps at the back. This very special dress was crafted from a tiny piece of vintage lace I had been saving for a special project and it is one of a kind.
