Long time no post!

It’s been a while since I last had a chance to update my blog, I hope to do so more often! I am still stitching away, making personalised items for my Etsy customers. I have recently added Birthday crowns to my shop, which can be made in your choice of colours and shapes. There is also the option of a crown with changeable Velcro numbers for each birthday!

Spring is in the air here in the UK and my personalised play tents are proving popular! Now available with windows! Great for indoor and outdoor play.

I hope to share more of the fun activities I get up to with my lovely daughter, we always have a project on the go! Some of our recent makes include this dinosaur terrarium in a Poundland cocktail bowl!

At the moment we are making her a mud kitchen to play with in the garden this spring and summer. More photos coming soon. 🙂

Summer Makes

I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer! I have been working on some fun sewing projects.

This fun teepee play tent design is for a little girl from her new baby brother. I love the Zap Pow Wham fabric!

This set of items were part of a custom order for a customer who looked through my past makes and chose some items she would like made in her favourite colours. It was great fun working with this lovely Japanese fabric and vintage flower charms.

I stocked up my shop with some new zip purses in Japanese fabrics! ♥

This pretty girly play tent is off to a little girl in Australia.

I also took my stall to a summer fair to support a local breastfeeding support group. Thanks to everyone who visited my stall!

I finally got a chance to make a Zap Pow Wham dress for my gorgeous little girl too.

I have a bunch of new designs on the sewing table for my shop which I should be able to share soon. ^_^

Last Days of Summer

I’ve been stitching away every chance I get this summer and my Etsy shop is getting nice and full. Here are some of the things I’ve been working on this month.

Quilted baby bibs with a nice soft fleece back and colourful plastic snaps. Nice and absorbent for dribbles and spills!

Some new rockabilly head bands including this Vintage Seamstress design.

A bunch of cute and colourful zip purses in a range of awesome fabrics. These are so versatile and useful!

A custom teepee play tent for a little girl in Greece. These can be made to order in your choice of fabric. Check out my shop for more info!

A Very Hungry Caterpillar play mat for my friend’s new baby boy.

I’ve had lots of inquiries about my quilts and play mats and these are now available to order in my shop too. We can work together to create a one of a kind quilt, a perfect gift or keepsake.

Baby Reuben and little Zachary seem to love their play mats!

Lots of exciting projects are planned for Autumn so keep an eye on my facebook page for updates. Roll on Halloween!

Autumn projects

It’s November already… this year is flying past. Poppy is 10 months old now and she’s just so sweet & funny. We went to look at the Autumn colour garden at the Botanic Garden this week.

We celebrated Poppy’s first Halloween this week too. ^_^

I’ve been stitching away and updating my Etsy shop as often as possible. Here are a few of the things I’ve been making this Autumn…

In September I made two applique cushions featuring Totoro. ♥ One for Poppy’s room and one for my shop… safe to say it’s new owner baby Dex was pleased with it! ^_^

I made some more of my wristband pincushions, this time in Liberty of London fabric with vintage buttons. There’s one left in my shop, and I will be making more (Japanese silk ones too) for the winter craft fairs I’m trading at and hopefully for my Etsy shop too.

I’ve also been making some embellished zip purses which are in my shop now. ^_^

Now I’m busy preparing for the Christmas craft fairs I’m trading at this year, but I’ll make sure I update my shop in good time for the Christmas post deadlines too! I’m making all sorts of things (with some *gorgeous* fabrics!) so I’ll be sure to share some photos here and on my facebook page of my work in progress. Baby Poppy keeps me busy so I’ll be sewing every chance I get! Gambate to all those preparing for craft shows this season!

The Made-It Market Christmas Special November 2011

This weekend I took my big bag of Jezebelles Boutique goodies to The Made-it Market Christmas Special, and I exhibited alongside more than 60 fantastic artists, designers and makers. It was the biggest and best Made-It Market to date, filling two huge halls at the Cambridge Guildhall! There were also groups offering workshops for the first time. A great day was had by all!

Hair flowers & brooches ❤

I shared a table with the fabulous Laura/PinkAppleJam and Selina/Bento Smile. I loved both their stalls!

There was so much temptation at the market with so many wonderful stalls, but I managed to resist most things… couldn’t resist purchasing from these two though. ^_^ I got a Bento Smile bunny plushie & PinkAppleJam felt carrot brooch! ❤

Bento Smile table!

Selina’s plushies & amigurumis are sooooo kawaiiiiii! ❤ ❤ They almost all sold, but I think she will be adding the ones she has left to the Bento Smile Etsy shop sometime soon!

Laura with her awesome PinkAppleJam stall! I made her dress from cute Pretty Cure fabric she bought back from Japan. ^_^

Laura was selling her fantastic comics & illustrations as well as kawaii handmade goodies!

I love her felt accessories! Laura will also be adding these to her PinkAppleJam Etsy shop soon!

The Cambridge Guildhall is a fantastic venue.

My loot from the day! Sad Bunneh & Angry Carrot! ^_^

Thanks so much to everyone who came to say hello, it was a great day! It’s always good to spend time with awesome creative friends. ^_^ I hope everyone likes the Christmas presents they get from people who shopped at my stall! For those of you who couldn’t make it, I’ll be adding some vintage style aprons, pin cushion wristbands & other accessories to my Jezebelles Boutique Etsy shop very very soon. ^_^ I think the three of us will be sharing a table again at the next Made-It Market in March too. ❤
